Panel Discussion on ‘Current Challenges to Human Rights in India – Emerging Legal Landscape’ by Panel Experts on September 23, 2022

Department of Professional and Continuing Education (PACE), NLSIU is inviting you for an online LIVE Panel Discussion on the current challenges facing human rights law in India.
Panellists include faculties for the PG Diploma programme in Human Rights Law (PGDHRL) offered in online & hybrid mode.

The panel, moderated by Ms. Sheetal Shinde, features – Prof. (Dr.) Sarasu Thomas, Mr. Arvind Narian and Mr. Kunal Ambasta, who all have an extensive experience in the field of Human Rights Law. They are faculty for the PGDHRL programme and will share a glimpse of what the course has to offer.

Panel Experts will be talking about the following challenges in human rights law –

  • Prof. (Dr.) Sarasu Ester Thomas on ‘Women Rights in India’
  • Mr. Kunal Ambasta on ‘Special criminal laws and human rights in India’
  • Mr. Arvind Narrain on ‘Relevance of genocide and crimes against humanity in the contemporary context’
